Steven C. Kletzkin, Esq. was born and raised in New York City. Mr. Kletzkin received his Juris Doctorate from the St. John’s University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Maryland at College Park. As an undergraduate student, Steven C. Kletzkin served as Intern to U.S. Senator, Hon. Alphonse D'Amato (NY) in the 104th United States Congress. As a law student Mr. Kletzkin was the judicial intern to Hon., Arthur J. Cooperman of Supreme Court, Queens County.
Upon being admitted to the Bar, Mr. Kletzkin concentrated his practice on the defense of complex litigation with a focus on medical malpractice, high exposure personal injury and product liability litigation. Before opening his practice, Mr. Kletzkin was associated with several large defense firms in New York City and South Florida. In that capacity, Mr. Kletzkin litigated on behalf of Fortune 100 and 500 clients including automobile manufacturers, healthcare institutions and physicians of varying specialties. Mr. Kletzkin is also a former Assistant Attorney General for the State of New York where he served as the lead trial attorney defending hospitals, doctors and employed professional staff on a wide range of personal injury matters.
Mr. Kletzkin’s litigation strategy is driven by exhaustive preparation and research which provides a decisive advantage regardless of the case or jurisdiction in which he is appearing.
Prior to attending law school, Steven C. Kletzkin was an English Teacher and Dean at Harry S. Truman, H.S., a New York City public school.
